New day
I have decided that my blog will be a daily dairy. Or as daily as I can afford to be sitting here. My life is so completely full of ridiculous stuff, day after day, that it ought to entertain at least a few souls.

Today I actually got to sleep in. I rolled over at 5am and didn't wake up for real until 7:15!!! CRAZY.

I looked over the end of the bed to the loveseat that is Chesters bed and he was sound asleep and not ready to get on with his day but with a little coaxing, he followed me down stairs and outside for a pee. Chester is my 8 month old Golden Retriever. I should have called him Velcro as he is stuck to me every minute of the day. He gets so close that he actually steps on my feet alot of the time. He is beautiful and sweet and terribly smart. But he is not GOLDEN...in fact he is almost white. It was a bit of a shock when we went to pick him up as an 8 week old puppy as we were expecting him to be much redder. But there were two litters of the cutest white puppies you've ever seen. We picked the one with a birth defect. Chester has a whole in his urethra that leaks urine into his rectum. He is awaiting surgery that will likely cost us 3-4 thousand dollars.

So, now I am going to get into my bath that Chester has had several drinks from. Then I am walking up the hill to my Mums to say hello before Chester and I go to work (my little bead shop). Hubby will then pick up the puppy at 3pm and take him for a good walk.

I want to come back, in my next life, as a much-loved dog. How about you?
